What Club 53 is and who is behind it.

What Club 53 is

Club 53 is the nightlife arm of 53 Group, based in Lagos. We think a night out here can be run better than it usually is, so rather than opening a venue we take over places we like and handle the whole night ourselves, from the music to the door.

The first event is on 29 December 2026 at Lagos Motor Boat Club. If you want to see what we mean, that is the place to do it.

The founder

Founder & Chief Curator

Dami founded 53 Group and runs everything under it. He works in investment management by day, and 53 Group grew out of things he was already organising for the people around him: football through Touchline, food through DaChef Kitchens, community work through the Five-Three Foundation.

Club 53 is the newest of the four and the one built for after dark. He is usually at the door on the night, so say hello.
